It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays at Halcyon House Antiques. The season was launched with cocktails at an evening party and the house looked fantastic!

Everywhere you look, you see signs of the upcoming holiday season.

There are Christmas trees everywhere in all shapes, colors and sizes.

Fur-ever!

There’s nothing better than snuggling up to something soft and furry! Halcyon House has just the thing for doing that!

We found the most incredible, amazing and soft faux fur collars. They’re just the thing to wrap around your neck on a cold day.

The faux fur is so natural that you really have to double and triple check to see whether it’s real or really faux.

We also have headbands that will keep your ears nice and toasty on a cold day!

When we were at the gift show in the summer, we spotted the most hilarious cards! We couldn’t resist ordering them for the store and for you!

What’s New!

Now that it’s well and truly fall weather out, and we’re not likely to go back into the 80’s, we have a lot of new fall and winter items in stock for you.

We have gloves! For women, we have them in gorgeous colors with great trims like the fur ones below.

They have great details like the stitching and the wonderful buttons.

We have men’s gloves in beautiful butter-soft leathers.

We have scarves in cashmere plaids, suitable for both women and men.

These tissue-weight cashmere scarves come in a wide range of patterns and colors.

If you are a dog-lover, we just got in a selection of ties and pocket squares featuring these hip hounds.

L’Heure Bleu

Blue… it’s a color that conjures up bright skies, clear lakes, a huge ocean, and, if you’re in Texas, acres of bluebonnet flowers. At Halcyon House Antiques, we have blues of all shades from turquoise and aqua to the deepest nearly black blue.

Orange You Glad…

That it’s finally fall? After those couple of crazy 85* days last week, it’s finally settled into fall!
That means we’ve broken out the orange accessories for your fall looks. This bracelet is amazing… orange “coral” and rhinestones in a great classical design. While you might be tempted to pair this with a black sweater on Halloween, it’s more sophisticated than that.

We also have this Chanel-inspired bracelet that actually comes in orange and a few other colors.

Pup Pillows

No, not a pillow for your pup, but a pup pillow for you! We just got these in and knowing our clients who LOVE their dogs, they won’t stay in stock for long.  First up, our beloved Jack Russell! We have one or two three of these over at the farm.

We have Labradors in yellow and black.

And pugs in black and fawn.

And dachshunds! All of the pillows are done in petite point and standard needlepoint, and they all have trims that echo the colors on the pillows. They will be a great gift for someone who is a dog-lover, or you can just buy one to celebrate your favorite breed.

Great Angela Caputi Review in the FT

Halcyon House Antiques is the only shop in the region which sells the gorgeous Angela Caputi jewelry that everyone raves about. And everyone includes the terrific Lucia van der Post who now writes a column, Van der Postings,  for the Financial Times, and their “How to Spend It” website.

Here’s what she had to say:
            “Take Angela Caputi’s gorgeous pieces, for instance. I first came upon her work in her little shop in Florence, and so fell in love that I bought fistfuls of it. If I wanted to buy more, however, there was nothing for it but a trip to Milan, Florence or Paris. But now Fortnum & Mason {and Halcyon House} is stocking a selection of her wares in its new second-floor jewellery department, homing in on her more dramatic pieces, such as a wonderful “pebble” necklace in black, white and red.”
